Dr. Foster is a specialist in Family Medicine and has been employed by the practice since 1994 looking after families from all over the world.
Originally from Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, he trained at Leeds Medical School qualifying in 1987.
He continued his general practice vocational training in the UK acquiring his MRCPG in 1992.
In 1994 he received his Diploma in Child Health and became a Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine in Family Practice in 1997.
In 2002 he gained his Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from James Cook University of Queensland Australia.
He completed his Diploma in Advances in Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011.
From 1996 to 2002 he was a panel examiner for the FHKCFP/Australian College of Family Practitioners.
Since 1995 he has also undertaken teaching posts for the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong, faculty of Medicine, teaching undergraduate students within the clinic setting.
Dr. Foster is keen on sports. He has played competitive rugby, cricket and squash, although now concentrates on golf, cycling swimming and occasional yoga.
Both his children were born and educated in Hong Kong. They are now studying their further education courses in Australia and in the U.K.
